A few small personal victories
Today I got my grades for the in class essay I wrote and I did very well on it! I’m happy about that since I don’t normally do exceptionally well on timed writing assignments!
Another small victory would have to do with relationships of both the former and current kind.

The best week ever
So, I just spent the last week with my now ‘official’ boyfriend.
It was lovely! He flew up to Vancouver from Denver for his Spring Break, and I couldn’t have been happier!
We went to the beach, the river, the tunnels, the lake, and had tons of adventures!

Conflicted
Today I had a conflicting day.
Life and emotions can get very frustrating!
But it was beautiful out today. I went out with an old friend to sushi, the river, to bubble tea, to the park and swung on swings, to a coffee shop for tea and cake because my birthday is tomorrow, to a giant field to see stars, and then back to my house! it was an eventful day, lots of fun!

Lazy Saturday
I started my first day of training yesterday from 3pm to 12am!
The night started to get longer and longer as it got later and later.
I actually had a lot of fun though; I met some people who would be in my training group and we played fooseball. I rocked it - I now have a team member!

I got the job!
The interview went well, and I am feeling much better about everything. My anxiety has sort of just… went away, which is lovely.

It’s beautiful outside, the sun is shining, it’s warm - I think I might go for a walk in a little while.
My sister made pancakes and bacon for brunch and they were delicious. Best Monday ever! We also washed our dogs and trimmed their hair, adorable.
I applied for a job today too. I’m hoping I get it because being unemployed is really not fun. At least I’m fortunate...

So, if living in Canada during the Olympics is exciting…
living in and around Vancouver is even more intense!
Tonight I spent all day walking and standing around downtown Vancouver.
4.5 hours spent waiting in line at the Irish House and then only got to spend about 30-40 minutes inside, which was a bummer after spending $20 for the cover charge, but I don’t regret it.
