Has the best boyfriend in the whole wide world! <3

Today he terrified me and almost gave me a heart attack, but then surprised me and made me so happy I cried!

Talk about emotional roller-coaster!

So, I was sitting in class watching a film when I checked my phone for messages. I had one new message from Jake that read, “We need to talk.” My heart started racing a million times a minute and was panicking because I had no idea what would have happened that would make him utter those ominous words! After class I called him once I got to my car, but he sounded very happy and upbeat - what a relief! He apologized for making me scared and asked if I was free Thursday. I knew exactly what that meant and started tearing up. He’s coming for the weekend and we couldn’t be more excited to see each other! Missing him completely!

Today I got my grades for the in class essay I wrote and I did very well on it! I’m happy about that since I don’t normally do exceptionally well on timed writing assignments!

Another small victory would have to do with relationships of both the former and current kind.

I’m in a good mood :D

Plus, I got new chapstick today - it’s both moisturizing and pleasant smelling, which I thoroughly enjoy!

Oh my goodness, I’ve been studying hard for school. This past week I had an in class essay, a test, and a writing assignment for my classes to study for on top of readings and notes, of course! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love classes, and I’m certainly lucky to be in school, but sometimes can get overwhelming on occasion; especially since I’m a terribly slow reader :(

Also, I have been looking for work while I’m in school to pay off my student loans - during mid-August and beginning of September I was all gung-ho and sending out my resumes and cover letters every couple of days… but nothing! Honestly, it’s been pretty discouraging to say the least. Today, though, I got two calls from two employers. I’m pretty excited - now I just need to decide whether I want to work with coffee or baked goods… how is one to choose between equally delicious things?!
